As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, the Flexfityoga Community Group is committed to providing inclusive and subsidised Hatha yoga, chair yoga, fitness and wellbeing sessions. These sessions are specifically designed to be accessible and inclusive for older adults, individuals with specific health needs, learning disabilities, and those with neurological conditions like stroke, brain injury, and dementia. 
 
Our dedicated team of activity providers is DBS checked, and we operate under robust Safeguarding and Equal Opportunity policies. Our commitment is to foster a supportive environment for individuals facing unique challenges, promoting holistic well-being through tailored sessions. 
Meet Dave, the founder of FlexfitYoga, and the recipient of the Active Essex Activity Awards Wellbeing award category for 2022. With a Level 3 Diploma in Yoga Teaching, Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training/Fitness Instruction, and a Level 3 qualification to work with clients with impairments and disabilities, Dave ensures the safety and accessibility of every session. Holding an NVBLQ beach lifeguard qualification and a current HFE 3-year first aid at work certificate further underlines our commitment to your well-being.  
 
Dave's passion for yoga is evident, and he aims to make this activity accessible and enjoyable for everyone in a safe environment, offering seated yoga sessions for those who prefer a gentler practice. Dave's diverse training, including Personal Trainer Level 3 Diploma with the London Fire Brigade, Yoga Teacher Training at the YMCA in London, and additional courses at Triyoga in Camden, enriches his approach, making sessions dynamic and adaptable.  
As a highly qualified professional, I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Yoga Teaching, a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training, and possess a Level 3 qualification specifically designed for working with disabled clients. 
 
Ensuring the utmost safety, I am fully covered by appropriate public liability insurance and maintain a current HSE 3- year First Aid at Work certificate. 
Your well-being is my top priority, backed by comprehensive qualifications and certifications. With my NVBLQ (National Vocational Beach Lifeguard Qualification) and extensive experience, I possess the expertise to ensure a secure environment for beach yoga sessions. Safety is paramount, and my qualifications equip me to deliver effective and risk-aware sessions by the shore. Your well-being is my priority during every beach yoga experience. All of my indoor and outdoor locations undergo thorough risk assessments to ensure a secure and enjoyable environment for yoga practice. Meet Pauline Smith, a dedicated fitness professional: Pauline holds a Level 2 Exercise to Music instructor qualification and is a certified Fitsteps Dance fitness instructor. Additionally, she is a qualified SOSA seated dance fitness instructor. Pauline has been actively teaching Fitsteps dance fitness in Walton, Frinton, Holland-on- Sea, and Colchester. Her commitment extends to inclusive seated dance fitness sessions tailored for adults with specific health needs and learning disabilities in Jaywick, Holland-on-Sea, and Walton, showcasing her passion for making fitness accessible to diverse communities.
